Meet Natalie Knox, Founder and Executive Director of Knox Children Center

Natalie is a dedicated educator with a lifelong commitment to teaching. Her journey into education began in her kindergarten days, where her dolls unknowingly played the role of her first students, foreshadowing her future career. Her passion for learning evolved over the years and later grew into a passion for teaching others.

Embarking on her educational career at the age of 17, Natalie started as a teacher assistant at a private preschool while still in high school. Her educational pursuits led her to earn an Associate Degree of Science in Early Childhood Development, empowering her to teach early learning concepts to children aged 18 months to 5 years. From there, Natalie’s career path led her to vital educational organizations such as HeadStart, The Boys and Girls Club, private preschools, and afterschool programs.

Along the way in her career journey, Natalie’s experience expanded into educational administration and management. At the young age of 23, Natalie launched a summer program for the Wildomar community, backed by the support of her community HOA Board. Taking the lead, she developed the curriculum and established the structure for the program, implementing it at her local community center. In its infancy, the program began with Natalie and just five students. Over the next five years, under Ms. Knox's leadership, it flourished into a thriving initiative, serving over 80 students and employing 10 staff members.

Throughout her career journey, Natalie discovered that teaching children was not her only passion, but also found fulfillment in helping fellow educators unlock their full potential. Today, Natalie continues to inspire both young minds and fellow educators in their educational endeavor.

“At Knox Children Center, we reject the notion of viewing a child in a classroom as merely another price tag. Our goal is for these children to have access to comprehensive development—socially, emotionally, physically, mentally, engaging every facet of their body, mind, soul, and spirit.”
